September Newsletter 2019

Hi all, wow, spring is in the air, what a wonderful time of the year. The days are

now starting to get longer, warmer and the fishing is improving all around the
different regions.
Our first comp has kicked off for the new season. Thanks to our awesome sponsors
of Mitre 10 and Sign Tint, it was another good one to get things started.
Please, where you can, support these companies as their support of you is so
critical to the combined pleasure and fun we have at our club. Lynette and her
team at Mitre 10 have everything you need, and Craig at Sign Tint can make
your boat or vehicle etc look awesome. Craig also has some very good fish measure stickers and tapes available down there so pop in and see him.
I would like to thank our retiring committee members very much, Neil Dalton, Arrum Ali, and Robbie Reid.
Also of course a big welcome to our new committee on the team, Grant and Stef Atkinson, Bob Bevege (patron) and Hayden Begovich, great to have you all on board guys, and of course a great big thank you to the rest of our team who stayed on board.
Hayden and the team have really kicked things along with the alterations to the club, next time you are there, October competition of course, I think you will be pleased with the progress.
A big thank you to the team on the committee,
we have had several working bees out there, thanks guys for rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in, nice work.
We have had amazing support from local businessess and in the next newsletter we
will list them all, we want to acknowledge them so you can too.
Next competition will be a beauty, our very good sponsors of many years will
see to that, the line up is Daltons Limited of course, Matamata Directional Drilling
and good ole Chooky’s Auto.
Make sure you get along and check out the work done so far, go fishing first of
course, and have some fun in the sun, see you all there.
Happy Days, Bungey
