President's Report
Hi all, if you missed the October competition you missed out on something quite special. While not quite finished yet the alterations at the club rooms are looking awesome. Now make sure you get along to the big November competition to have a look, and of course participate in a fantastic competition. There has been some amazing support from a lot of people, led from the front by Hayden our new committee man. I don’t like to single out people and all of our committee have been involved in working bees etc.
A very big thank you to local firm Waikato Nulook, Darren has donated our awesome bifolding stacker doors and Kane Fort put it all together in his own time, awesome guys. Also to Harry Fort for painting, Comag, Garland Engineering, Plumb Co, King Electrical, Begovich Builders, Daltons, Guthrie Bowron, Doug Fraser, Bowers Concrete, Mike Autridge and Graham Cummings.
Back to October competition now and a great big thank you to our sponsors, Matamata Directional Drilling, Daltons Ltd and of course Chooky’s Auto. The weather was not great, but we still had a good turn out with over 30 anglers weighing in fish.
Our next comp of course is the now famous November event. It is always a great occasion so don’t miss out. November is an awesome time of the year to fish so the weigh-in should be a real beauty.
