President's Report
Hello everyone,
Welcome to our April newsletter.
It was great to see a good turnout at the Club for our Sunday weigh-in. It was also good to see new members and existing members turning up. A big thank you needs to go out to our sponsors LJ Hooker, Matamata Auto Services and Electrical, Steve and Lynley Autridge Racing and of course Waharoa Transport.
There was some lovely snapper weighed in from within our boundary. The winning fish was caught by Greg Ward aka Action Man who won a great Icy Tek Chilly Bin sponsored by new Club sponsors Steve and Lynley Autridge Racing.
Another big thank you must go out to our wonderful Committee who do a fantastic job behind the scenes to keep this Club to what it is today.
This year in May and June, we have no competitons. We are looking at having a Club night in June so any suggestions for guest speakers and topics would be greatly appreciated.
Our next competition is July in conjunction with the Hunting Competition. This will be a big event so keep these dates available. First weekend of July, 6th and 7th.
We wish Bungey well as he came down with a nasty bug last competition weekend and it knocked him off his socks a bit.
