Hello fellow fishos,
Welcome to our October newsletter.
Unfortunately our weather was not good for our September competition date, the decision was made to post pone it for a week. Luckily enough the weather played its part on the following Saturday. It was pleasing to see the number of people at the Club considering the fishing weather. Although there wasn’t a lot of big fish, there were a lot of happy anglers. A big thank you to our major sponsors for our September competition, Matamata Mitre 10, Mark Wilcox Builders and Piako Rural Services Ltd. Thank you so much for your sponsorship.

A new initiative we have decided to try out is to Jackpot our Lucky Members Draw starting at $100 each month. You must be at the Club on a Sunday afternoon to claim the prize, and if not struck it will carry on to the next month. We also have a membership drive going into the November competition so if you know anyone with boats or is keen on fishing, please point them towards the Fishing Club direction. They too can get the enjoyment of the club just like we do.
