President's Report
Hi, hope all is good with you and you are still managing to get a line in the water. Winter is here but don’t let that put you off, there is still some very good fishing to be had.
June was another very good comp and our second to last for the season, wow where did that year go. These awesome competitions are only possible because of our excellent sponsors, and on that note, I would like to express a great big thank you on your behalf to our sponsors for June. In no particular order many thanks to Allenco Marine, Matamata Sportsworld, Harry Fort Decorators, and Phil Stevens Racing Stables, great stuff guys.
Our next, and last competition for the season is on the 6th and 7th of July and with all the points being so close it should be a good one.
If good prizes are your thing then don’t miss this one. Our excellent sponsors are Matamata Tractors and Machinery, Bell and Graham Solicitors, and New World, and yes, the good news is if you were wondering, the prizes will be those awesome gift baskets again.
Coming up of course is our prize giving, put it on your calendar now!!! Saturday night August the 3rd, there will be a free light meal again, so come along and have a great night celebrating with the winners.
Also, the Wednesday night after that on the 7th there will be the AGM. At the moment we have an excellent committee, seriously they are a really good team of people, if you feel you would like to be part of that team come along, you will have fun.
