President's Report
Hi, wow, here we are again, it is time for our big November Tournament, and yes, it is going to be a beauty. Let us look back a few weeks first though and what a beauty our Sep/October competition combined turned out to be. A very special thanks must go out to our sponsors, Matamata Mitre 10, Signtint, Daltons, Matamata Directional Drilling, and Chooky's Auto.
These are very long-term supporters of our fabulous club, so please where you can support them in return. Now on to November competition, wow where do I start, with over 35 sponors it is going to be another exceptional weekend. The main sponsor for the month is of course our very own J Swap. We really do appreciate their support as they do so much around the district for our community. Please take time to read and knowledge all our sponsors listed in the newsletter, including of course those very yummy lambs from the MacDonald family always a favourite ah.
Once again, this year we have up for auction a trip to Major Island for an overnight fishing adventure for up to 5 people. Also, at this stage it looks like there might be a couple of other boats up for auction as well. Please note that the December competition this year is going to be on the second weekend of December, the 12th and 13th. The November competition is on its normal slot of the 7th and 8th.
