President's Report
Hi all,
First things first I suppose. Yes, I am back for another season as president, thank you very much for all your support. You can rest assured I will do my best for you, the club members. We are lucky we have such a great team in our committee who all work together every month to bring you the best competitions we can. I would like to say a great big thank you to Chooky and Brad who have stood down. They are awesome team players but due to work etc they have taken a break from committee duties. Knowing those guys they will still be there in the thick of it. Also a big thank you and welcome to our two new committee members, Sylvia Ward and Richard Titterton. I am sure they will be excellent additions to our team. Last but not least, of course, a big thank you to all the committee members staying on for another season to work for you, the club members.
Now to the business side of things, thanks to covid restrictions we have not been able to hold September or October comps, very disappointing of course. We are in full swing at the moment trying to organise the November comp, at this stage who knows what the future holds so please keep an eye on your emails for that information. We will keep you informed right up to the week before, let’s hope we can go ahead. November has a lot of wonderful sponsors but the major ones are J Swap. Keep in mind there will be an auction for a trip on their awesome launch ‘Savana City’ for up to 5 people, all proceeds are going to the December comp.
Another special thank you to Darryn from NuLook Waikato, Mitre 10, Chookys Auto, Daltons and Directional Drilling for bringing their sponsorships forward. Last but not least, thank you to all of our members, without you we wouldn’t have such an awesome club.
