President's Report

Hi, wow, here we are, another season nearly over, one more comp to go and the excitement is building. Yes, it’s down to the wire in quite a few categories, good luck to you all for the July and last competition. You will have noticed Keith hasn’t posted the last points; this will make the prizegiving a lot of fun to be at, who will cross the wire first? Make sure you are there on the night, Saturday the 14th of August at the club rooms. Another important date is the 17th of August, yes, it’s the AGM, come along and have your say, we are always on the lookout for good committee members too. The June competition went off really well, the long weekend was enjoyed by many, while there weren’t huge numbers of fish weighed in there was a good crowd and thanks to our awesome sponsors, the prizegiving was excellent. Special thanks must go out to Phil Stevens Racing, Di Rosa Cabinetry, Whitehall Shoeing Co, Steve and Linda Dench, Kane and Kelsi Fort, and of course that magnificent rod and reel from Darren at Waikato Nulook, many thanks to you all. The July competition is going to be a cracker for more than one reason, we have a very close points situation, but we also have something new, thanks to Denchy and the sub committee we have a hunting section, this should be a lot of fun so come along and have a look. A special thanks to all our sponsors, please take a look at the sponsors page for the very impressive list of supporters we have for the weekend. See you there I hope, Bungey
